Harimau Muda catat kemenangan sulung

KUALA LUMPUR – Harimau Muda akhirnya mencatat kemenangan sulung pada Liga Divisyen 1 Slovakia apabila menumpaskan Dolny Kubin 3-2, kelmarin. Semangat juang dan keinginan memburu kemenangan, menjulang skuad bawah 21 tahun negara untuk mencatat kemenangan pertama selepas lima perlawanan, sejak di negara Eropah Timur itu pada 27 Februari lalu.

Petanda awal kemenangan anak buah Azraai Khor Abdullah terserlah menerusi gol pendahulu oleh penyerang, Izzaq Faris Ramlan pada minit ke-32.

Namun, skuad negara diikat tuan rumah dan ketinggalan 1-2 sehingga minit ke-88, yang menyaksikan Izzaq Faris tampil menyamakan kedudukan dengan gol keduanya.

Sekalipun sepatutnya boleh berpuas hati dengan keputusan seri, S. Sivanesan memastikan Harimau Muda muncul pemenang menerusi jaringan pada minit ke-90.

Pada 20 Mac lalu, Harimau Muda ditewaskan MFK Tatran Liptovsky Mikulas 1-3, Zemplin Michalovce 0-3 (13 Mac), MFK Ruzemberok B 0-3 (6 Mac) dan Slovan Duslo 1-4 (27 Februari).
